Understanding the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with Val
Val will offer a short "course" on the Yoga Sutras that will cover the following: a brief overview of the historical and philosophical importance of the Sutras; why it is the philosophical foundation for the Iyengar method of yoga; how the Sutras inform and enrich the practice of asana and pranayama; and, how to integrate the Sutras into daily life.
Students should have a copy of Light on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by B.K.S. Iyengar as the primary reference.
